Romspen is a leading
Canadian non-bank mortgage lender
specializing in commercial and industrial real estate mortgages. The firm began operations in 1966 and the Romspen Mortgage Investment Fund was formed in 2006.
Our investments are comprised primarily of
commercial and industrial first mortgages on properties across Canada
.
Our investment objectives are focused on
capital preservation, absolute cash yields to investors of 10% and consistency

We are highly
disciplined in our underwriting
with
loan-to-value ratios < 65%
and
do not rely on leverage
to achieve our returns.
The current overall real estate
mortgage portfolio exceeds $600 million
.
Over the past 10 years we have
invested over $1 billion
in
over 600 real estate mortgages
and have
consistently earned average annual returns of approximately 10%
