Romspen Mortgage Investment Fund

The mandate of the Romspen Mortgage Investment Fund is to provide investors with a consistent monthly income source secured by a portfolio of commercial mortgages prudently underwritten to safe-guard investor capital. Both the Fund and its predecessor structure have consistently generated net cash returns to investors of approximately 10% annually. The Fund’s successful performance is the result of the Fund manager’s low tolerance for risk, rigorous underwriting and deep experience of its principals.

Romspen Investment Corporation, the Fund manager, sources, underwrites and administers the Fund’s mortgage portfolio. The Corporation’s principals and management are experienced in sourcing, underwriting and managing mortgages secured by commercial real estate including retail, industrial, office and multi-family residential properties – market segments that are often under-serviced by banks and other large financial institutions. The Romspen Mortgage Investment Fund commenced operations on January 16, 2006 as an unincorporated closed-end investment fund established under the laws of the Province of Ontario. This pooled investment vehicle is available to qualified investors. The interest earned by the Fund is distributed monthly to the unitholder and is RRSP and RRIF eligible.
