Brent serves as the President, Romspen Development Group for Romspen Investment Corporation. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in the active management of the balance sheet, including capital strategy, funding strategy, asset liability management, and cash and liquidity management. His expertise as a seasoned developer executive will allow him to lead the financing for the firm’s acquired properties, identify and negotiate with potential JV partners, and assist with ongoing supplier and trade contract negotiations.

Brent was most recently SVP, Finance & Acquisitions at one of North America’s largest private residential real estate developers, where he spent over eight years leading a team of 15+ finance, investment, and market professionals to grow their business on both sides of the border. His business divisions included Canada, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  He was previously at BMO as a Director in their Corporate Finance division. 

Brent holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
