Due to a technical error, some notices of the Romspen Mortgage Investment Fund’s annual meeting (and proxy materials) were mailed to incorrect addresses, and some unitholders did not receive notice of the annual meeting.  As soon as we became aware of the error, we took immediate steps to rectify it.  

Unfortunately, as a result, existing proxies and votes will need to be cancelled.  To ensure that all unitholders have proper notice of the meeting, the Fund will be shortly delivering a notice to all unitholders with the new meeting date of July 7th, 2022 along with new proxy materials and voting control numbers.  We sincerely regret the error and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion it may have caused.  Please be assured that no unitholder personal information was disclosed.  

We greatly value the annual meeting — it is a unique and valuable forum for the Fund’s leadership to review the past year’s performance and provides an opportunity for unitholders to have their questions and concerns addressed.  We appreciate your continued support of the Fund and want to reiterate that we are continually striving to meet the highest standards of service and excellence.
